The island of Kauai is phenomenal; quiet, slow moving and lovely. The islanders are friendly and want tourists to be there.
Our condo had incredible views, a clean kitchen, up to date appliances and it was easy to get to the grocery store, fish market, several beautiful beaches and of course, shave ice. The internet connection being spotty was a small price to pay for such a great location.

We stayed in Poipu Shores unit 104C for the month of February, 2010. What a super nice condo with a great location! Everything on the inside was new and first class. We often tried to think of a place to go and eat with great views and then realized the place to eat with the best views was our own back porch. We could always see lots of whales and sea turtles. We really enjoyed taking walks down to the Hyatt and then sometimes taking the trail along the ocean starting at Shipwreck Beach. The only negative we would say is sometimes we really missed air conditioning. Especially after returning from a long walk. No a/c is very common on Kauai.
