Alaska starts nonstop service to Kauai - Puget Sound Business Journal (Seattle):
Alaska Airlines' nonstop service from Seattle to Lihue, on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, begins Sunday.
Earlier this month, Alaska began nonstop service from Seattle to Honolulu and in December, the airline begins flying to Honolulu from Anchorage, Alaska.
The airline, a subsidiary of Alaska Air Group Inc. of Seattle (NYSE: ALK), said flights will leave Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at 4:20 p.m. and arrive in Hawaii at 7:45 p.m. Hawaii time. Flights return at 9:15 p.m. Hawaiian time and arrive in Seattle at 5:55 a.m. Pacific time. Airline officials said the departure times are set to accommodate connections from other Alaska Airline flights.
