The Queen's Health Care Centers opened a new specialty clinic on Kauai Wednesday -- its sixth clinic in the state.
The Kauai Specialty Clinic will provide a variety of medical services in a 1,900-square-foot office at the Kuhio Medical Center.
The center is modeled after the Hilo Specialty Clinic. Oahu-based specialists will travel to Kauai to treat patients.
Participating physicians for the Kauai clinic include Ken Arakawa, rheumatology; James Sweet, allergy/immunology; Lee Guertler, cardiology; and Thomas Owens, orthopedic surgery.
The Queen's Health Care Centers, a subsidiary of Queen's Medical Center, operates clinics at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa in Waikiki, Hawaii Kai Shopping Center, Kapolei Clinic, Hilo Specialty Clinic and the Queen's Airport Medical Services. "
