It is adjacent to the Coconut Marketplace with over 60 specialty shops and restaurants. It is also just ten minutes away from Lihue airport.

Newly refurbished, air-conditioned, includes island style furnishings, Hawaiiana artwork, travertine stone flooring, wet-bar with wood cabinets, granite countertops and onyx tile back splash. The unit is ideal for preparing small meals and snacks.

"Loved the View and the Location"
We stayed at the Islander on the Beach unit 251 oceanfront condotel. It's like a one room studio with an awesome view. We were there for a week, and we were very pleased. We were so busy sightseeing that we just used the room for relaxing and drinking coffee in the morning, having drinks and using the pool and hottub at night and sleeping. We booked directly through the owner. I ... was a little scared, but everything turned out great! It's a remodeled unit and everything was nice, new and clean. We ate breakfast in the room everyday. There was a microwave, toaster and coffee maker and utensils, plates, cups, etc...Everything we needed. We got groceries at Safeway and ate and drank at our room except for dinner. What I loved most about this place was 1. The location 2. The oceanfront view/sunsets from our lanai and 3. The pool and BBQ area and tiki bar! The grounds were neatly kept, the place was quiet and the ice machine and laundry facilities were great. We actually stayed at Marriott one night and we actually like the Islander on the Beach better because of the smaller resort feel, quieter, less people and could hear the surf. Would definitely recommend this place. Loved it!!!

"Wonderful Aloha Experience"
We just returned from a four-day stay here, and it was without a doubt the best place we have ever stayed in five trips to Hawaii. We booked an oceanfront room directly through the owner (Josie)...unit #251... Our condo was directly oceanfront in the Ni'ihau building and was about 20 yards totally unobstructed to the surf. We fell asleep and woke up each day to the roar of the surf, watched the sun rise off the lanai each morning, and met people from all around the world at happy hour at the pool bar (Jeremy pours great drinks!) Normally we stick to ourselves on vacation, but this mellow property was full of relaxed and friendly people sharing stories over drinks at sunset. My husband went sportfishing and caught a mahi-mahi, and we grilled it up right there on the pool- side grills and had dinner on the beach. Amazing! Someone in a prior review wrote that you will feel the Aloha spirit here. They are absolutely right. I researched this trip forever and was close to booking the Hyatt when I happened to come across this condo. We have stayed at 4 & 5 star properties on other Hawaiian islands and decided to try a different experience this time...and we are so glad that we did!!! Kauai is a spectacular place, and this condo was the perfect compliment to it. It exceeded all our expectations. We will most definitely be back. Aloha!
