Secret Princess - Studio

We had an absolutely wonderful time here on Kauai and enjoyed the "Secret Princess", our home away from home (especially the birds in the morning!). Also, we are honored to be the first guests to stay here or at least the first to write in this book! Don't miss visiting the Na Pali Coast - by hiking or kayak - you will never forget it. We originally came for a friend's wedding at the Princeville Hotel. Little did we know the treasures we would find. The Secret Beach was gorgeous and provided us with a very nice time snorkeling in the lava pool. Thanks so much for leaving the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook as we used it well to not only find the Secret Beach (pg. 104) but also the beautiful Lighthouse and the Waimea Canyon. The Kilauea Bakery on the way to the Lighthouse had wonderful lunch, great soups and baked items... We had a wonderful, relaxing time here - could not have been better. The location is ideal! Aloha, WOW! Kauai is an absolutely breathtaking island and we have enjoyed every second of our stay. This is truly paradise & was the perfect spot for our Honeymoon. We loved the kayaking trip, visiting the Na Pali coastline, eating the fabulous seafood and taking life slow! This was a much needed getaway for us both. Sweet Dreams - One Bedroom

We came here for our Honeymoon and couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay. The decorating is such a nice mix of luxury and laid back Hawaiian culture. The location is perfect - there's so much to do on the North Shore, we spent all but 2 days here. It was wonderful to have so much provided for us that made it easy to do whatever - There's already scuba gear, a cooler---everything we needed. We did lots of hiking on the Na Pali Coast, saw plenty of beautiful waterfalls, hit Queen's Bath twice that was one of our favorites, Kilauea Lighthouse, went canoeing on the Wailua River... We had a blast...Thanks Candace for making it all possible. Faith & Chris

Mahalo, Candace! Had a wonderful time in this beautifully appointed condo. How I appreciate the textiles, good quality sheets & towels are important! It is so hard to leave now... I will miss waking up to the view of Bali Hai most of all! What a beautiful place - I can finally say I have experienced Paradise! The memories I take back with me are countless - KE'E Beach and the Na Pali Coast, discovering the Bamboo Grove, kayaking on the Wailua River and the hike to Secret Falls, the helicopter ride, Hideaway's Beach and Queen's Bath, Koloa, Hanapepe, the banana and macadamia nut pancakes at Eggberts with coconut syrup, the hike down to Opaeka'a Falls (yes - you can hike down but take the trail to the left where the sign is posted not to enter) and on and on. Thank you Candace for the beautiful surroundings but thank you most of all for the peace and serenity. Barb K., Omaha, NE

What a wonderful stay our family has experienced on Kauai! Our two week vacation in Paradise has absolutely flown by, and every moment of it has been fabulous! We never even left the North Shore; the beaches were too beautiful to stay away from even for a day. The mountains, the sunshine, the ocean, all the wonderful culture of Hawaii - it all combines to make a dreamland that no one wants to leave. Including us! The condo couldn't have been more perfect, it is both beautiful and comfortable - so tastefully decorated. We enjoyed every minute of our time in it. We felt like we were in our own home, we had everything we needed - and Candace couldn't have been more gracious. We will certainly be returning - hopefully, very soon!! We first came to Kauai as a couple for our Honeymoon in '88 and stayed at the Coco Palms. Kauai will always be a restful, peaceful, adventurous place like no other. We enjoyed our stay. What a great trip! Enjoyed snorkeling at KE'E Beach, swimming at Tunnels - lunch at Polynesia Cafe* in Hanalei - Shave ice at Wishing well - Kilauea Bakery is so good... this place is lovely - really enjoyed all the amenities & friendly professionalism & "Aloha" spirit of Candace! Our family came here for my parents anniversary, kind of weird but oh well. The view is amazing and we enjoyed staying here so much. If you want a great place to snorkel go to KE'E Beach. It was the best for seeing amazing fish. There were so many to see, it was awesome, don't miss it. On the way to the beach there are a bunch of caves. There is a pretty cool one, it's called, The Blue Room. You have to hike a little ways up a hill and then down a little ways and after that you can jump in the ice cold water which is quite refreshing after a long day at the beach. Overall, our stay was great and we enjoyed the hospitality of our hostess. This was probably the best vacation my family has ever had and I doubt if Kauai has seen the last of us. The S. We came here for our honeymoon and we weren't disappointed. The unit is decorated so nicely and we loved the location. We especially enjoyed Hideaways Beach, Waimea Canyon, kayaking with Kayak Wailua, and no trains! This trip will be one that we won't soon forget. Hale Moi is the first place we ever stayed at in 1985 on Kauai, so it was a bit of de ja vu...leaving as usual with a bit of a heavy heart, like leaving a loved one, and would have liked to stay much longer - next time!
