Notice to Resort Guests and Bali Hai Patrons:

The Bali Hai Restaurant
Has Been Closed For Renovations
Both the Bali Hai Restaurant and the Happy Talk Lounge have been closed for renovations. The Happy Talk is expected to reopen this year under new ownership and management. The Bali Hai Restaurant is expected to follow although no target opening has been announced. In the meantime, a poolside barbeque with hamburgers and hotdogs is available. Free coffee, juice and sweet rolls are also available in the mornings 7 days a week.

We'll update this page when we have more information as to an expected completion date.

The Bali Hai Restaurant in the Hanalei Bay Resort is a wonderful place to watch the sunset and enjoy Pacific Rim cuisine. This place is about as romantic as it gets with open air seating in a lush tropical setting, with stunning views across Hanalei Bay of the mountains and sunset over Bali Hai that you won't soon forget.

Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Most of the herbs, lettuce, and vegetables used in this menu are organically grown in our garden. We use only the freshest Kauai products available from local vendors.
