Located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet residential neighborhood, this studio is a 10 minute walk to Poipu Beach Park and Brennecke Beach.

Surrounded by lush tropical foliage, Ala Muku Studio is a beautifully appointed one room studio adjoining a large vacation home. This romantic, relaxed environment is a perfect vacation destination for two.

• The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, 2 burner cooktop, microwave, coffeemaker, blender, toaster and an excellent selection of cookware and dinnerware.
• For your comfort - a king size bed, dresser, ceiling fan & three quarter bath.
• Enjoy a sunny breakfast on the private patio with Kauai's majestic green mountains in the background.
• Escape with a movie or book on the comfy loveseat or simply enjoy your favorite CD on the fully equipped entertainment center: Cable TV, VCR, DVD, stereo CD player.
• A canopy of banana fronds surrounds you as you barbecue the "catch of the day."
• Beach equipment includes towels, straw mats, beach chairs and cooler.
• Turn on your laptop and enjoy high-speed wireless internet access.
• The garage is equipped with laundry facilities, 2 bicycles and helmets (this saves you $$$ on recreational gear rentals.)
• Be sure to inhale the tropical sweetness of the yellow ginger flowers across from the front door.

Poipu Beach offers a sheltered cove called “Baby Beach” where toddlers play in the sand and splash in the shallow waters. A few steps away in the clear warm water, colorful tropical fish swim beneath as you snorkel just feet from the shore. The calm waters and gentle waves are enjoyed by swimmers of all capabilities. Experienced surfers can catch large-breaking waves further out beyond the reef. Brennecke Beach, at the east end of the park, is renowned for body surfing and boogie boarding.

If you bring your camera you may be able to capture on film a Monk Seal sleeping off a meal on the beach. Seals are protected so don't approach too closely.

Within a 2 mile radius of the house you will find two golf courses, some of Kauai’s finest restaurants and charming island boutiques. When you venture beyond Poipu you will find a virtual paradise of activities: helicopter tours, horseback riding, river and ocean kayaking, whale-watching, botanical garden tours and much more, including many popular natural attractions such as the Na Pali Coast and Waimea Canyon (the Grand Canyon of the Pacific).
