Kilauea Church

Kilauea Church: This quaint church is made of lava rocks and was built in 1935. The Kilauea Sugar Company deeded the land and provided the stone; the magnificent stained-glass windows were made in England and restored in 1968 to ensure longevity. The cemetery beside the church has graves dated more than 100 years ago; however several sites have no headstones making it difficult to determine the number of people buried here.

One of Kauai's most popular tourist attractions is the Kilauea Lighthouse is just a short drive from here.
