Gillin Beach

Gillin Beach is north of Shipwreck Beach and the Grand Hyatt Hotel, but it is very much more isolated. To reach it, many people make the long hike along a spectacular hiking trail that starts to the left of Shipwreck Beach along the petrified sand dunes. The only other way to reach it is to drive through a private gate at Poipu Bay Golf Course and travel a few miles over a terribly bumpy dirt road through private property.
