The king-size custom-made Indonesian “Pineapple” bed assures you a good night’s rest after a busy day of sightseeing. You might even want to stretch out on the rattan lounge chair while you re-read a little Michener, Theroux—or even Crichton, one of our “locals” before turning in. When you wake up, you can watch the surfers on Hanalei Bay for awhile before you actually get up. And if you don’t want to take your eyes off that view while you take your morning shower, you don’t have to! This two-person, six-jet shower has a window facing Bali Hai (which includes a switch that, almost magically, makes the window become opaque for the shy!).

You can make your own light breakfast in the room; a coffee maker, microwave and mini-fridge is there for your convenience. And, of course, all the countertops are granite. Air conditioning is only needed once in a while, but it’s there if you need it. A beautiful beach shared with the Princeville Hotel for great swimming and snorkeling is just a short walk away. And it’s all in close walking distance to all the fabulous HBR amenities like restaurant/bar/parking/tennis/pool.
